How to Get Started

Battle Spirits is a two player Collectible Card Game (CCG) designed by Mike Elliott and co-developed by BANDAI and Sunrise, Inc.
Two card battlers will need their card playing skills and their ability to think strategically in order to win a game.
Unlike most card games out there, Battle Spirits has a resource system and that resource is called 'core' which is the key element that makes this game possible.
Cards are written in Japanese but you can always use fan wikis for translation.
What you'll need for a game:

-
A deck of 40 Battle Spirits cards or more.
-
It is recommended that you use a starter deck if you are new to the game.

-
An infinite amount of Core. (Usually, 50 will do for most games)
-
If you run out of cores, use something else as long it's countable. (Coins, Lego bricks, etc.)
That's all you need. Play mats are optional.
(Starter decks usually have paper play mats included)
Color/Attribute
There are six colors in Battle Spirits. Each color specializes in certain area.
Red specializes in attacking.
White specializes in defence.
Green specializes in own core increase.
Purple specializes in disrupting opponents' core.
Yellow specializes in powerful Magic cards.
Blue specializes in deck destruction.
If you're stuck on choosing a color, just choose your favorite card.
That's how I started my journey.
The aim of the game is to deplete the opponent's life or have their deck at 0 cards at the beginning of their turn.
